John Adams
John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 in what is now the town of Quincy, Massachusetts. Adams was the first Vice President of the United States, serving from 1789 through 1797, and the second President of the United States. His presidency ran from 1797 to 1801. His son, John Quincy Adams, was the sixth President of the United States.
